"Mellow Bumblebee" was truly a challenging photography experience for me. I have always known that I am allergic to bee stings from my early childhood, so as a precaution I always carry an Epi-pen with me. Even though, if I were to get stung by a bee, it does not necessarily mean I would have a severe allergic reaction like I did during my childhood. However, a couple of months prior to taking this image, I was out hiking with a friend, when I unfortunately stepped near a yellow wasp nest on the ground. Some say it was probably yellow jackets, I do not know for sure. All I know is that they were yellow, their nest was underground and they were mean. But since I stepped very near their nest, I was stung over 30 times on both legs and ankles. Lucky for me, we were near a stream of water so I was able to run into the water to drown them. I'll never forget picking dead wasps that remained stuck on my socks and pants. I'm grateful that I was wearing pants and boots during the hot summer days and carry a backpack as that added a lot of protection against nature. Fast forward to Clear Meadow Farm in Harford County, I attended their “Sunflowers in Jarrettsville” event. The farm usually plants sunflowers for summer and fall on a small section of their farmland. After having such an awful experience with wasps, I was very nervous about walking around so many sunflowers that seemed to be full of bees and butterflies. I ended up having a great time with a friend photographing so many sunflowers and so many bees. Even though I'm still shy around them, I would photograph them in a heartbeat.

Each set of cards contains a backing board to help protect your cards and envelopes from bending during shipment. I use Premium Eco Clear Bags - more Clearer, Stronger, and more Crease Resistant made from plants and compostable. I use these new Premium Eco Clear Bags to replace traditional Poly bag but the sustainability of a Eco-Friendly product.
Postal Service Priority Mail products and First-Class packages may require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. From personal experience, I’ve shipped First Class Packages and half of them are receiving in 3 business days while the other half have taken up to two weeks to receive.
Priority Mail’s two-day and three-day service commitments will be extended to three days and four days, respectively. Customers will continue to receive product tracking.
