“Guadalupe” was quite the surprise and truly a treat to photograph. I came across a mausoleum with a beautiful angel on the ceiling, looking over the deceased. I took a picture of the angel, admiring the beautifully detailed wings and dress. I soon realized there was another statue inside the mausoleum that I could clearly see, so I walked closer and realized there was a weeping angel looking over the family members. It's probably the first that I was able to see one inside very closely and clearly because of the iron gate, many times there are metal gates and I can take a glimpse inside but never a close, clear view. This was truly a beautiful sigh to see.
“Purple Water” was taken at the United States Botanic Garden in D.C. During the winter months, I like to visit this place often as I get a chance to view so many blooming flowers inside a warm environment, something to take me away from the harsh winter months and distract me by making me feel that for a moment, that I’m visiting another place in the world that is not cold and gloomy. I don’t know if this plant was recently watered, or if they retain water in the middle of the flower, but I remember looking inside this flower and was captivated by the small flowers surrounded by water, making it look like small tiny flowers were floating in the water inside a large flower. This was truly a whimsical surprise and I truly enjoyed photographing this flower.
“Cross” was taken during the fall, on a gloomy, cold, clamp kinda day. The natural lighting wasn’t working for me, so I decided to photograph in black and white. Allegheny Cemetery is a massive historic rural cemetery which is one of the largest and oldest burial grounds in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I spent about 6 hours walking around, photographing and really soaking in the landscape and outdoor artwork. Many of these massive and very detailed stone sculptures sit on tall pillars or columns for what seems like 20’ in height. Literally these massive cemetery angels seem to touch the heavens.
“Purple Prince” flower was taken at the United States National Arboretum in D.C. I don’t remember if I took this image in the Spring or Summer, my mind was very distracted with the recent passing of the singer/songwriter/musician/dancer…you get the picture, he was very talented human being Prince Rogers Nelson also knows as The Artist Formerly Known As Prince. What caught my attention about this flower, is how it has this subtle, translucent pedals, but yet you can still clearly view the pastel purple color of the flower. The color purple of course reminded me of Prince and his famous song titled “purple rain”. I caught this image for both the beauty of the flower as I have never seen one before and truly haven’t seen it again but I’m sure it still blooms in the Arboretum, I just haven’t caught it again. And also because the color reminded me of a special human being who had recently passed away, so I named it “Purple Prince”.
I hope that my photography was able to capture what I saw and experienced on that day and that I was able to share these experience with you. More importantly, I hope that the greeting cards brighten up your day!

I use these new Premium Eco Clear Bags to replace traditional Poly bag but the sustainability of a Eco-Friendly product.
Postal Service Priority Mail products and First-Class packages may require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. From personal experience, I’ve shipped First Class Packages and half of them are receiving in 3 business days while the other half have taken up to two weeks to receive.
Priority Mail’s two-day and three-day service commitments will be extended to three days and four days, respectively. Customers will continue to receive product tracking.
