I find cemeteries to be some, if not, the most peaceful places to visit. Cemeteries are quiet, peaceful, and often surrounded by so much greenery and nature.
Most rural cemeteries were built at a time when there weren’t public parks, art museums, or botanical gardens in American cities. Walking through a historical cemetery is very much like waking through an outdoor art museum of beautiful and unique sculptures made of stone or metal. Mausoleums are a form of artwork, each one has a beautifully unique architecture and style. Suddenly you find yourself surrounded by large pieces of ground, filled with beautiful sculptures and horticultural art.
Cemeteries can provide a great place for quiet reflection. I hope my photography captures these elements for you to enjoy.
This photograph was taken on a very dense foggy morning in November at my favorite cemetery in Baltimore. Every time I visit this cemetery, I love photographing this beautiful cemetery angel. She always looks so peaceful to me, perhaps because I'm a bookworm myself so maybe that's why I find this statue to be so alluring. Nothing beats getting lost in thought and losing track of time during a really good book read.

Postal Service Priority Mail products and First-Class packages may require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. From personal experience, I’ve shipped First Class Packages and half of them are receiving in 3 business days while the other half have taken up to two weeks to receive.
Priority Mail’s two-day and three-day service commitments will be extended to three days and four days, respectively. Customers will continue to receive product tracking.
If you would like to use a different shipping method, please contact me within 24 hours of purchase. Different shipping methods other than USPS First Class Mail will be at buyers cost.

I use Premium Eco Clear Bags - more Clearer, Stronger, and more Crease Resistant, made from plants and compostable.
