I took “Mourning Dove” in the Enid A. Haupt Garden at the Smithsonian Castle in D.C. I love visiting the National Mall all year round and arrive early in the morning to avoid the crowds. I took a brisk stroll through this area during the late winter months and stopped to listen the dove sing her morning song or perch-coo as they call it. I was mesmerized by her sassy look, almost as if to say to me “this is my good side darlin’.
Photographing in general brings a lot of joy into my life, but I truly love photographing nature. I love sharing these experience with you through my photography so I really hope that the greeting cards brighten up your day!
