This photo was taken at the United States National Arboretum in D.C. I’ve been very fortunate to "bee" able to capture so many magical moments in D.C. Arboretum. The "Pink Flower Bee" image was taken in the Asian Collections, in the Camellia Collections area during the later part of March. The area is quite whimsical in which the area begins to slope down to the Anacostia River, so you get to view a quite large diversity of plants and flowers during the entire year. It’s one of my favorite parts of the Arboretum because each part of the Asian Collections offers something different to experience throughout the entire year. The Camellia Collection begins flowering mid-autumn and continues through winter into spring. It was quite the treat to see flowers blooming in March and watching bees doing their busy bee work.
